Accomodations

Guesthouse of Ecole Polytechnique (10 mn walk from the Institut d'Optique)

30 rooms have been pre-booked at the Guesthouse of the Ecole Polytechnique (40-50 €/night).

They will be allotted on a first come-first served basis, with a priority to students. You can choose this option from the registration webpage.

Hotels near the Institut d’Optique (the participant are in charge of the booking)

The easiest is to stay in Massy, connected from the Massy-Palaiseau train station to the Institut d’Optique by two bus lines (91.06 B or C)

Options around Massy are:

4. Hotel Premiere classe Igny (direcly on the bus line to the Institut d'Optique)

Hotel in Orsay

Hotel d'Orsay, close to Le Guichet RER station. To reach the Institut d'Optique from the hotel, there are 2 options:  (i) take the RER to Massy Palaiseau and take the bus from there; (ii) Take the RER to Lozère - Ecole Polytechnique and walk uphill (~ 15 mn) following the signs "Ecole Polytechnique".
